Which Lightweight Double Pushchair Should You Buy?

Side-by-side lightweight double pushchairs aren't foolproof, though -when your children are at the same age or stage, they might be fighting over who gets to ride in which seat. If they are at different heights then a tandem style may be ideal for them as it allows them to face each other.
Tandem
While side-byside models are better for children of the same ages, tandem lightweight double strollers have distinct appeals. Tandem lightweight double pushchairs will generally make more precise turns than side-byside models, but they can be more difficult to drive on bumps and uneven surfaces. They are also slow to speed up and may be heavier to move, which could cause strain on your back.
Another alternative is a convertible double buggy, that starts out as a single and then you add adapters to turn it into a double. They can have an additional seat, a carrycot, or both in the front. Children can share a seat. Some of them also offer the option of adding buggy boards, which can help older children keep up with a younger sibling.
